Mindful Spheres

£15.00

“Mindfulness is the practice of ‘paying attention to the present moment’. What better way to be ‘focusing on you’ than with a beautiful wooden sphere in your hand?”

These spheres are turned round on the lathe and then hand finished with carnauba wax to maximise a hardwearing shine. They were born from comments that my apples feel “so good to touch” at craft fairs and apparently you’re not a true woodturner until you can turn a sphere - nailed it!

Available in Yew ( photos 1) Apple (photo 2) , Pangapanga (photo 4) and Walnut (photo 3). All wood responsibly sourced/upcycled as per my usual practice.

Yew, Pangapanga and Applewood sphere diameter 2”

Walnut diameter 2 1/2” diameter ( The xylem is visible through the sphere)
